Based on the latest Government advice to delay the spread of Covid-19

the village hall is now closed.

We know how important the hall is as a meeting place for the community and we look forward to seeing you again in happier times. I know that you will want to work with us to ensure that everyone stays safe.

Penny Wolfson, Chair of the Management Committee

Are you self-isolating or restricting your social contacts to protect your health and well-being?

Do you need some help with day-to-day tasks like collecting shopping or prescriptions?

Would it be reassuring to have a daily call from someone to make sure that you are okay?

A team of volunteers are willing and able to help you with these things.

You will though understand that volunteers are not able to enter your home or undertake personal care in any way.

Just call 07585158569  or e-mail and we will do our best to organise help or assistance.

For regular assistance please call between 9am and 5pm; in an emergency call at any time.

If you are willing to offer help please contact the number or e-mail above: your assistance will be appreciated.

We will also make over the two village noticeboards so that any further notices can be posted on them. As the Rudford board has to be locked to stay dry, please place items you would like put on it in the Village Hall letterbox.

This initiative is coordinated by

Rudford and Highleadon Parish Council, Rudford and Highleadon Village Hall and St Mary’s Church, Rudford.

We provide a venue for meetings of the Parish Council, the WI and other local organizations. To find out more about what is on offer please click on Groups and Activities in the menu on the left. The hall is available for hire for family parties including weddings and christenings as well as for corporate groups, and is the designated Polling Station for the parish - see Facilities and Bookings. Throughout the year the Village Hall Management Committee usually organises a range of activities and events including Quiz Nights and our popular Saturday Markets.
